Nope Voter Fraud doesn’t exist. Except when it does.

So the next time you’re out there complaining about how the voter ID laws need to pass to protect the sanctity of our election process and some loon tells you that voter fraud is a myth and doesn’t happen just send him to Kentucky.
See for as long as the people there can remember voter buying has been rampant and accepted. At one point it was even legal for the person buying your vote to go into the booth with you and make sure you voted for them. To make matters even worse in KY is that a lot of the money that was used to buy votes came from the drug trade and the people looking to buy a politician so the could get some protection for their drug business.

Salyers says vote buying has been so blatant that, “you used to be able to go behind the voting machine with voters, to make sure that if you bought their vote, that they would vote the way you wanted to.” But the laws were strengthened, and now vote buyers have to trust that the people they pay to cast their ballots vote as they say they will.

I will be the first to admit that voter ID laws would not have stopped the process of vote buying in this case. In the case of anyone who is legally allowed to and registered to vote, that is willing to sell their vote, a voter ID law will not stop them.

However is it really that far of a stretch to go from selling your vote to selling the vote of someone else and pretending to be that person. Or registering multiple times?

Maybe we are completely wrong and voters have never lied about who they were and cast a vote for a dead guy. We all know that it has happened but for the sake of argument let’s say we have no proof. Even though we do, like here. Or when pets and dead people get voter registration cards, like here.

Even with that wouldn’t you feel better knowing that the person who won that election won it fairly and everyone only got ONE (1) vote?

Except that buying votes isn't voter fraud.

And is “that far of s stretch,” Mr. I can't find a real argument so I'll just slide down this slippery slope to see what happens.
