So news broke today on Fox News and at the Daily Signal with Cheryl Attkinson destroying the Obama Administration and the State Department’s desire to have you just accept the crap that came out of the ARB.
Knowing what we knew before proved that it was a complete white wash and that Adm Mullen and Ambassador Pickering didn’t exactly dig down to figure out what happened. Instead they made sure to never interview Hillary or anyone higher up that might actually be able to answer the questions, and instead relied upon the troves of complete and unedited information they were given.
About that. So it turns out that one of those “State Department casualties” who was put on paid
vacation administrative leave has some pretty serious allegations to make. The best part is that Deputy Assistant Secretary Raymond Maxwell has already been in contact with Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) and his select committee on Benghazi.
Turns out what he has to say is pretty, well damning, and yet at the same time not that surprising. We always thought there was something fishy about it.
Turns out all those documents and emails ended up in the basement, and rather than place them under lock and key so no one could get to them, some removals and specific redactions had to take place first.
“She told me, ‘Ray, we are to go through these stacks and pull out anything that might put anybody in the [Near Eastern Affairs] front office or the seventh floor in a bad light,’” says Maxwell. He says “seventh floor” was State Department shorthand for then-Secretary of State Clinton and her principal advisors.
So just like everyone thought, this was a complete exercise to protect Hillary. After all the State Department Ombudsman allegedly told Maxwell that personally.
“I told her that ‘My name is on TV and I’m on administrative leave, it seems like it’s about me.’ Then she said, ‘You’re not harmed, you’re still getting paid. Don’t watch TV. Take your wife on a cruise. It’s not about you; it’s about Hillary and 2016.”
